Learning outdoors

We make use of our outdoor courtyard area every morning so children should be dressed appropriately.

It’s a great space for children to:

* Be active and energetic, starting and stopping, following their own agenda.

* Explore using all of their senses.

* Engage in large scale sand and water play experiences which promote development in early maths

* Use a variety of natural materials and loose parts in imaginary play, to build and create, to follow their own ideas and problem solve.

Learning through play and practical activities

We also have a well equipped indoor playroom with a whole array of fun things to do including dressing up with our clothes and accessories, kitchen and shopping fun, quiet area, puzzles, games, writing, craft and drawing materials, small playsets and more!

We like to participate in hands on, real life experiences

* growing and looking after plants

* going to the local shops and library

* playing regularly at the local park

* reusing and recycling

* preparing food together and making playdough
