Our resources

We are fortunate to have spacious accommodation enabling us to provide the children with a wide variety of activities and experiences.

In the 'big room' we enjoy role play (whether it be house, office, hospital or an idea invented by the children). Here we have the freedom for physical play; climbing, jumping, riding on trikes and building. On the carpet we can have construction or imaginative floor play. Our story corner provides a quiet place where children can have a story read to them or read by themselves. Games, jigsaws and puzzles are also available, for when the children want something more challenging.

The tiled flooring in the 'little room' enables us to explore paint, glue, dough, water, sand and other tabletop activities.

Outdoors there is an enclosed grassed garden which we access directly from the main hall.  As well as using the garden to play in, we have a small vegetable patch that the children tend to.  Last year they made some tasty potatoes and peas.
